Symptoms of snakebite:
- Visual disturbance
- Nausea or vomiting
- Wound pain and swell
- Breathing difficulties
- Change in consciousness
- Profuse sweating
First aid to patient:
- Try to take a picture or memorize the appearance of the snake
- Immobilize the injured part, reduce physical activities
- Rest the victim remove rings and constrictive rings from injured limb
- Do not message the wound or suck the wound in anyway
- Don’t drink alcohol or smoke
- Transport the patient as soon as possible to medical care
Symptoms of insect sting:
- Wound pain and swell
- Shock
First aid to patient:
- Remove sting if present by scraping out the sting with nail clipper or credit card, without squeezing
- Seek medical advice
